Cutting tool (kitchen knife recommended)
Cutting board/flat board
How to serve:
How not to serve:

Do not serve your guests these dowels, as they do not taste like cake. Leave the wood

Whether you are serving 5 guests or big soiree, event style cutting is the best way to go!
4-layer cake will give you 2 pieces per slice
6 layers cake will give you 3 pieces per slice
1000-layer cake will give you 500 pieces per slice
Serving it event style? Make sure to cut across, making rectangular shaped cuts.
Lean a cutting board up against it and give your cake a trust fall. Once securely
placed on a flat surface, cut them into smaller rectangular pieces and serve.
